Paramount Repairs

Terms of Service

Effective September 2, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern diagnostic, repair, mail-in, and related services provided by Paramount Repairs ("Paramount Repairs," "we," "us," or "our"). By submitting a repair request, shipping or delivering equipment to us, approving an estimate, or paying for services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service eligibility and authorization

You represent that you own the equipment or are authorized by its owner to request service. Submission of a request does not guarantee acceptance. We may decline equipment that is unsafe, outside our capabilities, inadequately identified, or unsuitable for economical repair. Do not ship equipment until we confirm acceptance and provide instructions.

2. Diagnostic service and bench fee

The $54.99 diagnostic bench fee covers intake documentation, inspection, electrical and functional testing when possible, fault diagnosis, and preparation of findings or an estimate. The full bench fee is credited toward an approved repair. The fee is otherwise nonrefundable, including when repair is declined, unsuccessful, technically unrepairable, or not economically practical.

3. Estimates, approval, and changes

No repair work beyond diagnosis will be performed without customer approval. Estimates are based on the condition observable during diagnosis and may change if hidden damage, contamination, prior repairs, unavailable parts, or additional faults are discovered. We will request approval before any material increase. An estimate is not a guarantee of repair success or completion time.

4. Payment, taxes, and return shipping

Payment is due as stated on the invoice and before repaired equipment is returned unless we agree otherwise in writing. Parts, return shipping, insurance, payment-processing charges disclosed at checkout, and applicable taxes may be added. Approved work already performed and specially ordered parts remain payable if the customer later cancels.

5. Shipping and packaging

Customers are responsible for safe packaging, inbound shipping, tracking, and adequate insurance. Use appropriate antistatic protection for exposed circuit boards, a sturdy box, and sufficient padding to prevent movement. Do not send batteries, cables, coolers, accessories, storage media, or other attached equipment unless requested. We are not responsible for loss or damage occurring before delivery to us or after transfer to the return carrier, except to the extent caused by our own negligence or prohibited by law.

6. Data and device preparation

Back up and remove personal or confidential data before service whenever possible. Testing may require resetting settings, updating firmware or software, or using test systems. Although graphics cards generally do not store personal files, other accepted electronics may. We are not responsible for data loss, corruption, or disclosure except to the extent caused by our own negligence or otherwise required by law.

7. Repair limitations and replacement parts

Electronic repair involves risk and success cannot be guaranteed. Failed processors or GPU cores, multilayer PCB damage, corrosion, liquid contamination, counterfeit or unavailable components, proprietary assemblies, and prior repair damage may prevent repair. Unless specifically agreed otherwise, replacement components may be new, used, refurbished, reclaimed, or functionally equivalent. Removed parts may be discarded after service unless return is requested before work begins and return is legally and practically permitted.

8. Customer-supplied parts

Customer-supplied parts are used at the customer's risk. We do not warrant their authenticity, compatibility, condition, or performance. Our limited workmanship warranty applies only to our installation work and does not cover failure of a customer-supplied part or damage caused by that part.

9. 30-day limited workmanship warranty

Completed repairs include a 30-day limited workmanship warranty beginning on confirmed delivery and covering only the specific fault and work identified on the final invoice. Our obligation is limited to re-evaluating and, at our option, correcting covered workmanship without additional labor charge. The customer is responsible for safely returning the item unless we confirm other arrangements.

The warranty does not cover unrelated or newly developed faults, normal wear, cosmetic condition, shipping damage, improper installation, misuse, modification, overclocking, mining use, inadequate cooling, power-supply or cable faults, electrical surge, liquid or physical damage, corrosion, tampering, or work performed after service by anyone else. Consumer rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.

10. Unclaimed equipment

We may treat equipment as abandoned when the customer does not respond, pay an undisputed balance, or arrange return within 60 days after our final written notice. To the extent permitted by Texas law, abandoned equipment may be recycled, sold, or otherwise disposed of to recover storage, service, shipping, and administrative costs. Any legally required notices or waiting periods will be honored.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paramount Repairs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost use, loss of data, or business interruption. Our total liability arising from a service will not exceed the amount paid to us for that service or the fair market value of the equipment immediately before the loss, whichever is less. These limitations do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Communications and repair documentation

You agree that we may contact you by email, phone, text message, invoice, or ticket update about your request. Repair information and status updates may be stored and displayed through a ticket number paired with the matching customer email. Photos or video of equipment may be created for diagnosis and documentation. We will not publicly identify a customer or disclose personal information without permission, except as required by law.

13. Independent service

Paramount Repairs is an independent repair provider and is not affiliated with or authorized by NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, DJI, or any other equipment manufacturer unless expressly stated. Manufacturer names and trademarks are used only to identify compatible products.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any court proceeding must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Denton County, Texas, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise. Before filing a claim, each party agrees to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute directly.

15. Changes and severability

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. The Terms in effect when a service request is accepted will govern that service unless a change is required by law or agreed to by both parties. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

16. Contact
